Review...
My problem with the RAI program that I recently
attended was the disconnect between what was said at the initial seminar and
what was delivered in terms of the boxed materials received and the content in
the 3 day seminar. (Cost: 2995.) The "exclusive" information promised to the RAI
attendees was only available by plunking down an additional payment in the
amount of another 3995.
The information re: contracts truly scared me it was so
simplified; we were told just pay your attny 5000 if that makes you learn
contracts better! As for the information at this weekend I was informed that
there was no proprietary information that this was all public information! Well,
I should have signed up for a college course instead that would have better
prepared me than this course. And, at 13.00 a unit a whole lot cheaper. The CD'
I received were slick and old, I am also unimpressed with the content. It does
try to give the personal experience of those that have had some success with
rehabbing, or foreclosures etc. I don' fault the instructors so much however,
they are running their personal business' with depth, and professionalism but to
expect that this course will do it for you too is an overstatement. (One had
invested considerable capital to learn the business, the other had had
experience with real estate in the past)
One thing that I didn' like was the
hurried pace, and the lack of depth in answering doubts. I am glad that I didn'
put down the additional cost of the mentoring program, this is another hard
lesson in life for me. I will explore real estate investing clubs, stay in
contact with some of the other attendees who are good people, and only try to
invest once I am convinced that I know what I am getting into. I found this
website incidental to trying to go online with RAI, I wish I had known about it
before!
