Quixtar may work for some. I know a woman who claims she is very successful, but its a different animal than Amway.

I was "in" Amway in the early 80s, in Dexter Yeagers "downline" through Bill Brit's line. At a convention at the Scope in Norfolk VA in the early 1980s, he said anyone can succeed in Amway. He said that in front of an audience of at least 10 thousand people. I thought it was the most misleading statement that I had ever heard. I once was a great fan of Brit's, and even was a guest at his North Carolina home during a special seminar he gave. Brit and his group allegedly made a fortune off of seminars, books and tapes.

All the while claiming they never made a dime off them. Look, Quixtar is what it is, but Amway is questionable. It's not a scam, it's just questionable, ultra right wing political and a bad investment of your time.

Put your time in a business you love and create on your own. You will make more in every aspect, including self respect. I left Amway in 1985, apologized to all I had roped in and went on to make six figures in my own hose painting business. Nothing replaces hard work as the source of success.

There is no such thing as easy wealth. Wealthy people worked hard for years to get what they have. You dont need to make the DeVos family wealthier to have your own dream come true.
