I too received a letter from a long lost relative in Nigeria whose father had passed away and left and unclaimed $66M. This individual needed a foreigner to retrieve the funds via an Amsterdam bank. After balancing my check book realistically, I decided to play it out. I gave the individual my cell phone number and he called me from Ghana. Even a couple of times.
He sent me Statements from a bank, a Death Certificate and a myriad of other unscrupulous paper artifacts.
When I required the predator to set up additional emails addresses on AOL, etc., he even did that.
The end result was that I required a retainer fee to continue the business transaction.
After I required a retainer fee, he came down with terminal cancer. Major Drama?
This is amazing!!!! Hopefully I keep my head on my shoulders about this one and play it out a bit more.
