Review...

I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist and would like to give my story relating to EcoQuest International and their "Fresh Air" air purifiers. I have seen a lot of negative publicity regarding the technology and also EcoQuest itself. As a Respiratory Therapist, I have sold the Fresh Air to many COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) patients, including those with asthma, emphysema, and chronic bronchitis.

I was sucked in, like most people, searching for a way to make money while working at home and having a flexible schedule. After three weeks of extended phone conversations with my up-line, I tentatively let him send me a Fresh Air for a trial period. The first 2 days were not so good. We had the very strong chlorine smell that gave us headaches and my wife had a burning sensation in her eyes and throat. With sensations like this in your throat, as a Respiratory Therapist, I became alarmed. I called my up-line and he said, "GREAT, that means it is working!" (I found out later that this is a taught sells tactic by EcoQuest International). We left it turned on and noticed that it was making a difference.

So, I decided to jump into the business. I bought their success pack after being guaranteed that I would sell all of them, with the help of my up-line, before my first payment. Wrong! It took me a while but I finally sold all of them. I was reaching out to smokers for the obvious benefit of taking the smoke out of their living space. The Fresh Air spec sheet proclaims that to be an application. Everything was great the first month after my customers made the purchase.

Then it all went down hill. I had 3 customers, who happened to be smokers, call the same day with issues. They had cleaned their machines but could not get them to reset the maintenance reminder. Although under warranty, I had to spend the money to have the machines shipped back and when I received them back from repair I received a note about proper maintenance. It informed me, the customer, that these machines were not being kept clean enough. I spoke with my up-line and he told me that in order to use these machines in a smokers house that a special filter needed to be installed. This is the "harsh environment pad." This would not be so bad except I sold the Fresh Air, as instructed, to smokers as a machine that does NOT need a filter.

In the meantime, I also sold a Fresh Air Buddy to a lady with severe allergy and breathing problems. She loved it but we could not get one that would work longer than seven hours. She went through three before we sent them in to EcoQuest to see what the problem was. I was instructed to send them to a specific person that was waiting on them. He received them and then had his secretary call me and ask why I sent them to him. Neither of them knew what I was referring to!

I had a website designer and search engine optimizer design this website to help me in my endeavors to sell Fresh Air purifiers and the Laundry Pure technology. When my site began to get too many hits, EcoQuest asked me to take any brand name or trademark off the website. They said if people search and find my site then EcoQuest does not get all of the traffic. They will gladly sell you a website for $12.95 a month but the traffic goes through Ecoquest and there is no possible way for a consumer to search the web and find that site.

I would suggest to anyone to try the technology. We take our Fresh Air everywhere we go. We really believe it has drastically cut down our infections that start out as allergy problems. We have all done extremely well since purchasing our unit. We also have a Laundry Pure and a shower head.

The technology is great but expensive. The opportunity is cheap but not worth the trouble!
