| February 17, 2008 | | Very experienced trader dislikes predictions of Options Made Easy | | Review...
I have been trying to make the Options Made Easy software work for over three years. I have lost close to $100,000. Their software simply does not work as stated in their free seminar. It has no predictive value. This non-sense of red lights green lights, fresh crosses and whatever else they claim will allow you to know when to buy an option and when to sell is not true. They claim that the position of their green and red lines is a good trend indicator and therefore a good indicator as to when to buy or sell whatever option you are considering buying or selling. More non-sense. I have tried many different approaches, initially the ones they represented when using the software. I am a very experienced trader. What amazed me is that they got me; I could not believe some of the people that attended their free seminar. Many did not know a PUT from a CALL. Unfortunately, I have no excuse for allowing myself to be scammed. And yes after three years I am determined to get that $100k back. I am still trying to see if there is any way to use or interpret their software when making trades. So far I have been unable to find one consistent strategy that works. The bottom line regardless of whether you are short or long, using basic option trades i.e. simply buying a CALL or buying a PUT or more complex trades, the way you make money is buying lower and selling higher. Sounds simple enough, but it applies to every strategy, simple to complex. You have to sell something for more then what you bought it for regardless of the timing factor or what you did first buy or sell. Their software simply does not provide any real predictive, trend indication, whatever non-sense they want to call it to allow you to make those decisions as to when to buy and when to sell. Their software does provide information. It just does not provide any real reliable information as to when to get into a trade or when to get out and that is the misrepresentation they are guilty of when they sell their software and feeds at their free seminar. | | |
