To the guy who got off on the wrong foot with Dave Ramsey, I'm sorry that you paid $166 and then your class was only going to charge $99. That is definitely a bummer and I feel for you.
Be assured though, that the kits are all the same price. Churches that offer Financial Peace University often underwrite part of the cost in order to help out those who want to take the class. So, if they are offering the kit for $99, the church is paying the remaining $67. Dave Ramsey is not charging different prices to different people.
It all depends on what the host CHURCH decides to do. Even though you paid $166, stick with it. It is still a small amount compared to what you learn through Financial Peace University. I took the class almost 3 years ago and WOW. It is worth tens of thousands of dollars to us.
