Review...

In June of 2005 my wife and I signed up for the Jeff Paul, Shawn Casey and Jim Fleck's "Making Money in Your Underwear." It was a bad mistake.

We were contacted by Jeff Paul and Beck's "Mentoring of America" to take the course that would assure our "success" in the program. The program cost was over $6,000. We were supposed to obtain "coaching" and guidance to "guarantee that they would take responsibility for personally coaching you and make sure you have cash coming in whether you're holding up your end or not." We bit on this.

When we received the materials they were substandard and written by people that did not have proper use of the English language, and were haphazardly put together. The so call coach of Mentoring of America (MOA) was useless. The websites we were supposed to operate from did not work and the "coach" and the "support" group was unable to correct the problems.

Once we started asking for our money back we stopped receiving the "coaching" we had paid for, the telephone numbers given were useless and e-mails went unanswered. We were left hanging in the wind.

We discovered online that there were hundreds of complaints against Jeff Paul and Mentoring of America. From our research we found that Mentoring of America was in trouble with the State of Utah and we filed a consumer complaint against them. I would suggest any folks who have been scammed by Jeff Paul and MOA file a complaint with the Consumer Protection department of the State of Utah, with the Internet Crime Complaint Center, your state AG office and with the FBI.

If you take action and stick with it you will get your money back. Do not be intimidated by Karen Johnson, claims manager of MOA and demand that you receive all you paid plus interest. Additionally, the companies that you were told would be needed to succeed in your Jeff Paul business are part and parcel of Jeff Paul. (Advantage Corporation Services, Applied Merchant Systems and Automated Marketing Solutions). Be sure to include these in your complaint to the Utah Consumer Protection Department. I hope this helps.
