| March 19, 2008 | | Tricked by Yanik Silver, marketer hopes to expose his tactics | | Review...
Yeah, I was a sucker. Yaniks Silver's sales letters are just a website with what amounts to pages of text that you just use your mouse to cut out or delete certain words to "fill in the blank." There is nothing in the way of content in his letters that would be better than anything you could get by going to the bookstore and buying a marketing book and copying letters. Yes, his marketing copy touted his refund policy as being great. It's baloney. This is simply a technique to get the suckers to say to themselves "What have I got to lose? He'll give me a refund promptly...he says he wants to do right." It's called a risk-reduction strategy, but has to be backed up with action or it's just a lie. I've sent a couple of emails to the address he gave and received no response at all. Nothing. About a week after my purchase, he sent me a form (by autoresponder, no doubt) soliciting a positive testimonial for his piece of junk product. I just answered each question with "Yanik owes me money. I want a refund" and gave my name and email address. Of course, there has been no response at all. Between his really, really weak product and his use of what is in my opinion, a false statement about his refund policy, I will never send him another dime. I recommend you do the same. | | |
