I have lived by Bob Brinker's advice for quite a few years. I feel he was right on for some pullbacks. I was counting on him to call what certainly seems to be our existing bear market. No such thing.
The S & P is down a bunch and he has not yet suggested moving some investments out of equities. Using that cash to reinvest at the lows. I emailed him asking why and it was obvious he did not like me questioning his position. He offered no justification at all. Seemed as though he was saying if I don't like his advice, I could go else where.
His reputation certainly gives him the right to offer advice. That does not mean his advice is always right. A real man would own up to it and use his expertise to move himself and his clients forward in the best way possible. | | |
