Firstly, It is real simple folks...it is not so much the SMC people you call are pushy or rude, they get a commission. They have families to feed too. That is why they call it "Telemarketing". Secondly, a salesman in one state cannot tell you what will sell in your area. He can suggest ideas of the best sellers, but its your job to study your area, talk to friends, do a survey of stores, flea markets, chamber of commerce, and the library (lots of free info out there). Thirdly, no matter what business you get into, it is all about what you put into it, not someone else. Fourthly, if you have not mastered your household budget, your fooling yourself about running a business. There are lots of records to keep. Check the library for books on bookeeping and budgeting and business. Lastly, don't sell the milk before you milk the cow...she might leave you with a dry pail. | | |
