| March 26, 2008 | | Once in debt, husband and wife get help from Dave Ramsey | | Review...
The steps are that David Ramsey lays out to get out of debt are doable and easy to understand. You must be dedicated to doing this, and willing to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, it sucked and I pushed through some deep, thick, ugly mud (debt) and wanted to quit several times. Then I would see how far I had come, what I had gained and how close I was to the other side. One gain was $200 in Shell gas cards (rewards points from a credit card account I was about to pay off and close), which paid our gasoline bill for one car for a month! The mud is not so thick and the other side is closer with every bill paid, credit card paid off and every kindness shown. A friend gave us 50 pounds of venison because he told us his freezer was too full and his wife told him to 'Get rid of it! I know you haven't had time to hunt this season." I must be doing something right because good things keep happening. | | |
