| March 26, 2008 | | Wanting to find a steady job, Nikki makes the wrong move by calling SMC | | Review...
Wow. From SMC's TV ad I thought this would be a good way to make a little extra money as a stay at home mom. I was wrong. The sales people are so pushy on the phone. I called with some questions and was told that our call was being recorded. If I signed up today then he would waive my website setup fee so I would "only" have to pay $415. I told him that I was going to have to call back tomorrow because I didn't have the money today and he got even pushier and told me that if I did not set up today that tomorrow I would not get free setup and would have to pay $850 for the same thing as today. I decided right then and there that this was not for me and told him so. Then he wanted me to give him my bank information and that he would put the payment through on Monday. I said no thanks and hung up. About 3 minutes later he called me and said that he just wanted to let me know that my website setup was not going to be free "because we already talked once and it was recorded." I told him I was no longer interested anyway and hung up on him. I would not recommend SMC's program to anyone. Run away and don't let them scam you. They say that they make their money from what you sell, well then they need to be more helpful and not so pushy and rude. | | |
