Financial Peace University Courses Should Be Taken at Church

I have been the coordinator at our church for Financial Peace University and over 400 people have taken the class in a 3 plus year time period. Dave Ramsey has advice that works. Like any class commitment level has varied, but those who apply what they have learned have benefited monetarily, and in many other ways.

THE COST ISSUE for the kit is that it is discounted to churches because small group accountability is extremely important. Conversely the kit is more expensive to buy on your own because people are discouraged to take the class on your own.

I would encourage having your coordinator contact the person at the Lampo group and explain in detail what happened. They have always bent over backwards to do the right thing. Their customer service is outstanding, but no one is perfect.

Our youth pastor ordered $70 of materials to use with the youth group and he lost them. The person he was working with sent him replacement materials at no cost. Obviously he was very grateful. I would encourage anyone to take the class because it is well worth the price. It helped our marriage in how we handle money and has greatly reduced arguments over money.
