I read the Rich Dad Poor Dad book a month ago, and attended one of his seminars and played the Cashflow game. I found the book has helped me think about money in a whole different way (and I have an MBA - when he says they don't teach you this in school he is not kidding - I think everyone should agree with that). I can now see how I can get out of the rat race and making more money from my income will not make me rich. Neither his books nor the seminar told me how to do it - but it pointed me in the right direction - more like a wake up call (especially about what the fed reserve is doing- scary stuff). Ultimately it all comes down to using your common sense and taking calculated risks. Before this, the fear factor was too high because I couldn't see clearly - so more than anything I can see the way to go - I still need to walk it myself. | | |
