| May 23, 2008 | | Review by Tarzan -- Former Army personnel likes Matt Furey's Combat Conditioning | | Review...
Matt Furey's Combat Conditioning is a combination of Yoga exercises (Uthak Baithak, Dand, Sinasara) and wrestling/boot camp calisthenics. His little motivational stories are cool, but understand, I was an NCO in the U.S.Army. Matt's approach to training is of the "institutional" style. He comes off like a drill sergeant, coach, or martial arts instructor. I don't know about any of his other products; I can't comment on them. I use his Combat Conditioning System in conjunction with dips, pull-ups, inclined push-ups (feet elevated on the seat of a chair) and diamond push-ups (a big favorite in the Army's PT program). It's a MA coach in a book, it works well if you train regularly. I don't think you can develop a huge Dorian Yates body with this system, but you can achieve that super lean/stringy Bruce Lee body. This is for Martial Artists who want to train in a natural, fully functional way. I have been complemented on my strength, flexibility, stamina, and physic by quite a few martial artists. | | |
