I have used Liberty Tax Service for six years and every year I end up teaching the preparer. I thought nothing about it until this year when the employee used fraud to upsell services that they offer. Now I realize the employees they hire have no formal training in accounting or any other area. Most are either retired or are stay at home mom's looking for extra income.
In fact these employees would not be able to do a return if they did not have a computer program doing it for them. As far as unethical and illegal tactics go, if you don't want to get taken, then don't use Liberty Tax Service | | |
